Drum & Bass
For those lucky enough to be at the birth of Jungle in the 90’s you’d have undoubtedly come across the legendary Micky Finn who, packed with his arsenal of dubplates, led the charge and paved the way for Jungle and Drum & Bass as we know it today.
After a brief production hiatus, Micky’s back on the scene to lead the way once again. This time he’s teamed up with Vital Elements, one half of today’s Jungle pioneers Serial Killaz, who brings something very different to the table.
The Tantrum Desire brand is most associated with the kind of epic productions that have seen drum and bass become a mainstay of the mainstream. True heads, though, will know that there’s always been an undercurrent of genre-twisting experimentalism present, which came to the fore on last year’s huge album Diversified. So, which corners are explored on this EP?

If you’ve locked onto one of Erb N Dub’s streamed studio sessions, then you’ll have witnessed a producer who revels in the craft of music-making. And that sense of musicianship comes through whether he’s in front of a DAW, behind a real live drum-kit as part of Wicked City or delivering a furiously scratch-laden DJ set. It’s the musician’s symbiosis of the technical and the artistic that means an Erb N Dub production is always innovative and frequently unexpected.
Dj’s: Rapid and Vaptor got together in 2015 to form Full Kontakt bringing something fresh and different to the drum n bass circuit. Some pieces of music stay with you your whole life. The seminal and iconic King Of The Beats, from musical legend Aphrodite, is one of those. Originally released back in 1999, King... went on to influence countless artists and its shadow has been cast on drum & bass ever since. Now, in 2016, it's back, in reconditioned form and ready to roll, along with remixes from Aphro himself and Levela.
