The Sub Slayers Series compilations have been much talked about since launching in 2013 and this fourth one is set to keep those tongues wagging and those feet stomping.
Slayers bossman Jay Cunning takes to the helm for this multi tempo journey into some of the labels finest moments of 2015. Starting off at a blazing 140 beats per minute it’s not long till all cylinders are firing at 175 till we finish of in the 125 arena.
A fine selection of tunes showcasing the diversity and quality that’s kept Sub Slayers right up there with the best.
In case you don’t know, WAR is essentially the black ops division of Technique Recordings. The imprint only emerges from cover on rare occasions and, when it does, it always signals the delivery of a heavy payload of explosive dancefloor material. This particular mission demonstrates that the name Worldwide Audio Recordings is no idle boast. This unit has truly international credentials.
To say the Serial Killaz are legends in the Jungle/D&B scene would be a massive understatement. If you haven’t been off your nut while listening to these guys push the limits of the subs, well then turn up the volume, strap on the camo and get ready to throw them elbows.
We teamed up with the boys to release the Tarzan and Jane of Jungle comps. Over two full on mixes they take you on a journey of smoothed out ragga sounds, headbangin’ dirt and even some classic hip hop samples thrown in for good measure.
Earlier this year BMotion dropped 'Bear Hug / Vice City' on Viper Recordings. The single was met with a rapturous reception from both ravers and DJ's alike. Smashing out clubs from Cardiff to California, 'Bear Hug' was championed by luminaries such as Matrix & Futurebound, Brookes Brothers, Calyx & Teebee, Dimension, S.P.Y, ShockOne, Metrik, and Drumsound & Bassline Smith to name just a few.
Congrats to all the winners and people involved in the event and awards. A special mention goes out to our winning clients The Prototypes (Best Video) & Koven (Best EP) and of course Shut Up And Dance who were the winners of the 'Lifetime Achievement' award we sponsored

This tune's already been an anthem twice over and now it's back for the hat-trick. First, it earned its stripes as a general-purpose weapons-grade rave-killing dubplate in the sets of top echelon selectors. Then, in 2007, it dropped on general release, original on the A-side and VIP on the flip, taking out a whole new wave of parties with the fallout. And now it's time for round three, in the form of a transatlantic team-up between Technique Recordings and Human Imprint.
Making their return in June this year with 'Return of the Pistoleros' album, the Dub Pistols continue to break boundaries and blend genres with their forthcoming EP on Sunday Best. ‘Killa Sound’ features Seanie Tee & Donovan Kingjay and gets a full bass overhaul from artists across the board.
Every now and then two musical geniuses lock themselves away in a studio, deprive themselves of the outside world and knock their heads together to produce a magical musical moment. This is the story of the Brookes Brothers and Danny Byrd. Having previously collaborated together on ‘Gold Rush’, ‘Get On It’, and ‘Paperchase’, the Brookes Brothers and Danny Byrd are no stranger to each other.
