The drum and bass scene is looking strong. From the sweaty recesses of the grimiest jump-up raves to chart-topping, ad-soundtracking mainstream acceptance, 2015 has shown that this music has the full spectrum covered. And Technique Recordings, as always, has been up there at the forefront of the movement. This compilation, drawn from Technique's releases over the year, is here to confirm that point.

With their debut EP on Viper VIP, North Base drops a diverse selection of tracks and BPM's showcasing their style from the opening rolling title track 'Polarity', to the rough and rugged sounds of 'What R U Doing?" featuring the legendary Ragga Twins.
Baileys Brown is a London born, Bristol raised producer whos roots are firmly placed in the Bristol Hip Hop scene and sound. Having helped forge the sound of the new wave of Bristol such as Split Prophets, Twizzy and Central Spillz, he has an incredible back catalogue of bangers.
Menu Music latest release comes from legend in the dance; Leeroy Thornhill. With a musical career spanning back to the early nineties starting out with The Prodigy then breaking out to an artists in his own right. Leeroy’s toured the world and seen it all.

In case you don’t know, WAR is essentially the black ops division of Technique Recordings. The imprint only emerges from cover on rare occasions and, when it does, it always signals the delivery of a heavy payload of explosive dancefloor material.
