What is a Space Yardie? "A Jamaican gangster in a space ship," would be the obvious answer. But up till now there hasn't been any Jamaican gangsters in the space race. The Space Yardie, in fact, is the ultra ego created by the Rapper, Sifu Chan.

We have been working with some amazing music so far this year, so we though we would share it with you. From House to Drum & Bass, from Breaks to Reggae... We have it all.
The Tantrum Desire brand has been closely associated with the type of big-room epic style that have turned drum and bass into a mainstay of the mainstream. We all know, though, that there's always an undercurrent of twisted experimentalism, which comes to the fore in “Nationwide Rocker”. It opens in a dark and techy landscape, suggesting we're building into a display of neurofunk technique. And then we're dropped into something that isn't quite categorisable. It's hard, dancefloor music, built from a stripped-back rhythm sequence and a succession of expertly-twisted basses.
We're sending out big love to one of the longest standing labels out there: Formation Records. They've just come on board as a regular client for their latest releases, back catalog as well as their new Gospel & Bass label: Bass Disciples.
