"Swinging Flavors #1" is the handy work of Sun People aka Simon / Off. The Disko404 owner, Phuture Shock Music affiliate and Sub.FM / Radio Helsinki regular host debuts on the label with a 6-minute banger filled with heavy bass vibes & toms sorrounded by chopped but smooth female vocals and spacey synths.
2015 is drawing to a close and from PR to Label management, OTR has worked with some amazing artists and labels in the past year. 20 year old Mancunian DJ & Producer, Taim smashed it up this past summer with his anthemic house banger 'First Time' on Get Twisted Records which got premiered on UKF. The track also appeared on the 2015 edition of Toolrooms ubiquitous 'Ibiza Deep' compilation series. He returns in rare form on Fat! recordings with a markedly deeper, darker and all round larger release in the form of 'Blackout Blinds'.
Following the success of Himalia's album 'Distances' and the subsequent inclusion of 'So Long Ago' on the seminal Cafe Del Mar 21, 'Distances Remixed' becomes the cadaver for a number of handpicked producers for Pegdoll. This latest project rides the waves of Drum 'n' Bass, Electronica, Future Garage and House music.
The reinterpretation of 'Distances' delves deeper into Himalia's psyche, providing a fresh perspective that complements the original release and beyond.
