Schema - now releasing tunes under 'SKMA' (pronounced Skeema) - are the Bass Music production & DJ misfits from Jersey.
Six strong years have resulted in multiple releases including several EP's, singles, a compilation and a string of devastating remixes which has earned them airtime on BBC Radio 1, XFM, Kiss FM as well as live mixes on Kiss FM & Kool London.
Their debut release on Sub Slayers under their new name is a beautifully crafted Liquidesque venture into Drum & Bass, with a nod to the classic days on Good Looking Records.
We kick off with Wanderers; a delicate riff that glides over punch out beats with a smooth, yet unbelievably large rolling bass line.
Next up is Exodus Blue with it’s DJ Shadow meets RJD2 style intro. Half time beats and graceful synths, but don’t let that fool you cos when this one drops, it drops large!
A classic sounding release with today’s upfront production.
